Stree 2: Story Written Updated
The film picks up a few years after the events of Stree. Chanderi, now relatively peaceful, faces a new supernatural threat a headless entity called Sarkata, who begins abducting women during a local festival. Sarkata’s arrival spreads fear and panic, with eerie signs and cryptic messages left in its wake.
Vicky (Rajkummar Rao), now a successful tailor and the town’s unlikely hero, finds himself reluctantly drawn back into the world of spirits and supernatural forces. This time, he is joined by his loyal friends Bittu (Aparshakti Khurana) and Jana (Abhishek Banerjee), as well as the quirky and knowledgeable Rudra Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi).
As they investigate, Vicky’s mysterious love interest, Stree (Shraddha Kapoor), reappears. Though her true nature remains ambiguous, it becomes evident that she has a vital role to play in combating Sarkata. Stree hints at a deeper connection between the two spirits, leaving the group with more questions than answers.
