Complete storyline of the Movie Kalki (2019)

The plot starts in a village named Nanchenkotta set in the backdrop of politics and slingting affected area controlled by a local political master mind goon Amarnath. His marriage partners are important members of a dominant political clique, and with his reign of terror, he keeps the villagers subdued. Amarnath along with his brother Appu is violent person who controls the village by threatening the villagers.

The story upside down when Sub-Inspector K. Asif (Tovino Thomas) posted from the city to Nanchenkotta as Officer in Charge. Asif is not a regular police officer that the village has ever encountered and he is characteristics are quite complicated he is a combination of fearlessness, toughness and the ability and culture of giving the justice in his own unusual style. His entry provokes the existing hierarchy in Nanchenkotta due to change in power base and demoralizing the corrupt officialdom as well as criminals.

A man of such decision does not waste much time before confronting Amarnath and his men. Demolishing the Australian outhouses that house structures built without permits to dismantling their illicit operations, Asif starts pulling down their empire molecule by molecule. But the spirit of Amarnath do not bow in front of such conditions and circumstances very easily. He attempts to neutralize Asif’s actions either by deceit and physical incorporative force.

The story of the movie is revealed by twisted motion, and during actions, focus is placed on Asif’s character, his enigmatic nature and his ability to fight criminals. He is introduced as a man with past that makes him fearless and deterministic is achieving justice. Even though Asif and his kind are in minority and dealing with much opposition from the evil system in Nanchenkotta, he stands up and fight the tyrannical system.

Towards the end of the tale, the villagers come to know Asif and accept him as their hero despite being suspicious of him in the beginning of the story. The last scene where Asif turns against Amarnth gives the movie a much needed end and is good for its story.

It as thus fitting that the movie closes on a hopeful note of optimism as one man and a cause fights through righteousness against the system.

Themes:
This movie is about justice and power and general fight against injustice and how one can stand against it. It is filled with suspense episodes, action sequences and splendid delicacy from Tovino Thomas.
